Ruptured Troll Shoppe of Curiosities

When Uhu sees the two uruks moving to attack him, he remembers what his parents once told him while they were training him to survive in a hostile world of monsters. His father said, “Child, you are a mighty rock troll.  In combat,  you can probably beat (and eat, said his mother) anything you meet that is smaller than you.  Do not mess with wizards or those who attack with magic, at least not until  you’re much older and stronger.”

With an impressive bellow, Uhu charges forward to attack them.  The uruk in the lead swings his scimitar at the same time as the Uhu swings his arm with the bag of money in his hand.  The sword strikes the descending troll arm, makes a small nick in Uhu’s rocky flesh, and shatters.  Uhu’s fist strikes the uruk’s helmeted head, and drives the metal all the way down to the uruk’s shoulderblades, pulping the head as if it were only an overripe pumpkin.  “Eep!” says, the second uruk. (Actually, it says something a lot fouler and more alarmed than eep, but this is a family friendly web page) It immediately turns and runs away as fast as it can. 

[Players, you must make a choice.  Should Uhu stay and loot the body of the uruk he just killed. (25 a.p.) or should he ignore that body and try to catch the one that is running away?  Since monsters eat other monsters without any hesitation, Uhu has just come into a good supply  of food.    Decisions, decisions! Choose one of these alternatives:  1.  chase the fleeing uruk, 2. loot the body of the dead uruk and resume exploring, 3.  hunker down, eat his fill of raw uruk meat, then loot the body, and resume exploring, or 4. pick up the dead uruk and try to find his way back to his own lair.  Send your answers to kenstandre@yahoo.com.  Turn 5 should happen on Sunday afternoon, May 19.]
