Talk to the Trollgod–my first blog
Ugh! (that’s trollish for hello!)
Greetings, Gamerss, Gawkers, Grokkers, and other Gentlebeings of Great Imagination!
I am Ken St. Andre, and you’re (probably*) not! (with a tip of the trollgod’s hat to Chevy Chase and Saturday Night Live)
Welcome to the Ruptured Troll Shop (of little monsters (and sometimes big monsters). The Ruptured Troll was originally a dockside tavern in the town of Khosht on the Dragon Continent on Trollworld run by a troll named Slather. He used to be a dungeon monster, but one time, an adventurer with an enchanted weapon ripped him wide open and left him with his guts falling out on the dungneon floor. Trolls regenerate. Slather pulled himself together, and healed, but it left a scar. He deecided that was a terrible way to live, so he toook the treasure he had been guarding–the delver couldn’t carry it all–and left the dungeon behind, and moved to Khosht. On Trollworld, especially in the Empire of the Goddess, all kindreds can mingle freely in most cities and towns, and what happens in the dungeons stays in the dungeons, if you know what I mean. Now, the Ruptured Troll is an online shop that is a public arm of Trollhalla Unlimited. It exists to sell/distribute/promote the fantasy role-playing products created by me, Steve Crompton, and other creative members of Trollhalla.** The merchandise for sale here is all either personal inventory of Steve Crompton and me, or produccts created and published by Trollhalla Unlimited.
Trollhalla Unlimited is the owner of Monsters! Monsters!, the frp game I originally created for Metagaming back in 1972. When Webbed Sphere bought Flying Buffalo, they also acquired all rights to Tunnels and Trolls. (I wish I hadn’t allowed them to buy it, because I think the game might die from neglect with them, but at the time it seemed the best thing to do.) Monsters! Monsters! is a separate game, copyrighted and trademarked in my name. The latest edition–edition 2.5 is available from Trollgodfather Press in pdf format on Drivethrurpg.com.
Monsters!Monsters! 2.5 Edition – Trollgodfather Press | DriveThruRPG.com If you take a look at it, please browse all the other products. The latest effort is centered about our campaign world of Zimrala. Monsterary of Zimrala – Trollgodfather Press | DriveThruRPG.com
This page is created and run by people–by me, by Steve Crompton, by Mike Eidson, and possibly others. We speak to you and break the 4th wall as person to person, not as company to customer. I’d like you to buy our products and enjoy using them as many thousands of people all over the world have done, but that decision is up to you. You will learn this is not a Dungeons and Dragons clone, although it is a fantasy world.
I plan to run an irregular blog in this location. I’m open to questions and comments from anyone who reads this. Send those missives to me personally: kenstandre@yahoo.com. There is so much more I want to tell you all, so please return in a week to see my next communique. There will be polls, and a continuing adventure of The Toughest Dungeon in the World where the choices of you readers will determine what happens to our protagonist–a young troll named Uhu (pronounced yoo hoo). It takes a while to get these things rolling, but by Crom and by Gristlegrim it will happen. That’s what I do. I make things happen.
Ugh! (That’s trollish for see you next time)

I MUST budget time to read this blog EVERY WEEK!
Because I don’t dare NOT read it every week!
Hwllo, Tzhett, it’s good to see you leading the charge into the Ruptured Troll Shoppe. Do you think we can get Trollhalla going again disguised as an online shop? Let’s hope so. I’m not quite as strong as the Trollgod used to be back in 2014.
What platform are you using?
What do you mean, “what platform?” YOu can see allthe posts right here on WordPress. The shop clearly explains that everything hereis associated with my game, Monsters! Monsters!
