Toughest Dungeon Online, Turn Three
Scene Three
Uhu cautiously enters the hidden cavity, bu the lair is empty. There is treasure lying onthe floor in a corner near the back. The walls of this place glow dimly as if they were heated in the past and haven’t quite finished cooling. he lair is uninhabited, and seems to have been empty for quite a while. There is a skull of some type on the floor, but the rest of the skeleton has been removed. Uhu is a very young troll and has never seen a skull before, and so cannot identify what type it is. The skull has a short wax candle stuck to the top, but it’s not burning. Whoeverr lives here apparently only bother with money. There are several leather pouches lying around. some ot them are open and a few coins have spilled out.
Uhu gathers all the treasure and quickly counts it.–Yes, he has learned to count. Trolls are good with numbers. There are 50 gold pieces, 295 silver pieces and 138 copper pieces. There is also a copper ring–too small to fit on any of Uhu’s fingers–with a dark gem set into it. (The jewel is an opal worth 9 gold pieces–the whole ring might fetch 10.), but Uhu doesn’t know what it is.
[Players, you must make a choice. Should Uhu steal all or part of the treasure he has found? If he takes it, how much should he take, or how much should he leave? When he leaves the lair, should he try to find his way back to his own cave, or should he keep exploring. Last choice, should he eat the skull that he found. He’s a rock troll, and bone is made from calcium which is actually food for him). It would only be a snack, but it’s still food. Send your answers to kenstandre@yahoo.com. Turn 4 should happen on Wednesday, May 17.]

Uhu ought to take the coins and the ring, and leave the skull ALONE.
